The shape must be in a frame in order for a plugin to work. You cannot just draw a shape randomly in the canvas and set the mask. The plugin uses the frame as a way to set the grid.
This plugin doesn't even remotely do as advertised. The amount of noise in the linework is ridiculous.

Ethan Fox thanks for reporting, there is some sort of bug that I was able to reproduce one time, but cannot reproduce anymore.
Can you try exporting vector, then restarting plugin? Is the noise still there?

KB The shape has to be inside a frame. It works flawlessly now.
